The saloon restaurant menu delivers a culinary celebration of seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, supplied by our farming neighbours, within the abundant Shropshire countryside. Our highly skilled Executive Chef, Andrew Watts and his creative team are delighted to present dishes ranging from traditional British Classics to exciting inspirational Fayre from around the globe, not forgetting our famous Afternoon Tea, all served in a truly stunning setting overlooking the glorious gardens, surrounded by portraits, landscapes and sculptures, in what used to be the Art Gallery owned by the Hill family, whose ancestors resided here for over 300 years.

Despite the grandeur of The Saloon itself, we encourage a relaxed but meticulous service and do not enforce a ‘jacket & tie’ dress code in the restaurant. You can find details of our other alternative dining options, Hills Kitchen and The Snug Bar here.

A delicious A La Carte evening menu Monday – Saturday from 6.00pm – 9:30pm & Sunday Lunch every Sunday from 12noon – 8.00pm.
